Saturday, 7th December, 2002 - Toymods Xmas Dinner

Well Xmas is getting closer and we all now how quickly the social calender fills up.

We NEED to get a minimum of 15 people and we have to book in advance to get this package. We will be accepting a $10 deposit per head to secure your positon. (Non-refundable unless we don't get the numbers to finalise the booking)

Dinner will start at 7PM Saturday 7th December.

What do you get -

Entree:

Appetiser Platter
( Assorted starters)


Mains:

Porterhouse Steak
( A Tender and Flavoursome Stek Traditionally cooked to you likeing. Served with Jacket Potato's and Fresh Salad)

Footlong Pecker
( A Mixture of Diced Chicken, creamed spinach and Mozarella cheese wrapped in Puff pastry and oven baked. Topped with Mushroom sauce and served with seasoned fries and fresh salad)

Grilled Nile Pearch
(A Boneless fillet of Nile pearch served on a bed ot Italian vegetables Topped with tomato, onion and lemon salsa)

Chicken Parmagiana
(Crumbed chicken Breast topped with napolitana sauce, ham and our best melted cheese. Served with fries and salad)

Desserts:

Temporary Insanity
(Vanilla and chocolate ice cream on a base of chocolate crumbs topped with peanuts, chocolate fudge sauce and cream)

Sticky Date
(Don't resist trying our sticky date with caramel sauce, served with cream)

or

Tea and coffee.



Not a bad selection to choose from huh !

So sell the wheels off your mums barina and get your deposits paid to Joseph Moore or Mos before or on at the November meeting (Monday November 18th). If by the end of the November Meeting we don't have 15 deposits we will be forced to make alternate arrangements. (paid deposits will be refunded)

Yeah it should be a great night. We had a similar dinner last year and it was excellent.

Please note this is not just for Toymods members would be great to see some new faces come doen to meet a few of the regulars.

And as for the footlong pecker.... Danny highly recomends them ! I'm just not sure if he has eaten at the Keg Wink J/K Laughing

Joel, I am a fussy eater but I mainly don't eat cheese... Except for pizzas and that... And I'm also not a huge fan of Steak... Plus I have no table manners at all which I'm ashamed of and really need to do something about...

But I spose that I could go for the Steak and the Temporary Insanity for dessert...

Hey, I told you I thought I was fussy!
I wasn't whinging about my food, I ate too many cheesy fries & just couldn't finish it. Smile
If I remember correctly it was EVERYONE else that had problems with the food! Very Happy

Well we went to finalise the deposit for the xmas dinner last night and were none to impressed to find out that they closed for Business last Saturday ! Thats right the f#*kers closed down !

All is not lost ! After a frantic search by Tina, Greer, Joe and Myself we have found a new place with good food for Saturday night details are being confirmed as I type. Please check out the new thread intis section for the details, address and menu and make sure your on the seating list.

If you want to come and are not on it you need to let Joe or I know Urgently. If your on it and the new menu or location is not to your taste also let us know urgently so we can adjust the booking and of course your deposit will be refunded.

Thanks for the understanding this was beyond our control !
