Hello everyone
Just signed up, my car is a 90 Supra Turbo (7M). Figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to maybe have so connections in AUS as well as possibly hooking some of you up with parts from the US. Didn't know if there were any unique a70 parts available there, but if there are, please let me know, I'd like to get some new ideas for my Sup.

Not too familiar with the TA22 model. Is it an older Celica??
I don't have a problem at all trying to hook anyone up with whatever I can get. For references, I have the same seller name on ebay(usa) and same screen name on supraforums.com

Thanks, I'll see what I can come up with. What toyota cars are popular in Aus?? Which engines are most sought after/used?

id say the most sought after engines are the 1JZ-GTE, 1G-GTE and the 1UZ-FE.
especially the 1JZ as not only toyota enthusiasts are using them, nissan and holden enthusiasts are starting to snap them up.
as for most popular toyotas if we are talking most popular sports cars id say soarers (lexus SC400) are quite common, they are cheap and fast, and you see supras now and then but if we are talkin all round cars then its camry's and corollas.
if this were a nissan forum and u asked about nissans then all i could say is GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, GTS-T, they are freakin everywhere!!

Here, I'd say that the 2J is king. Everybody wants one, and it seems like everyone is going single. Not that's it's a bad idea or anything, Stock block and head with a big turbo and adequate fuel and guys are pulling 600+ rwhp. Top hp is somewhere around 1300 and climbing. The only other motor that you hear a lot about (other then vtec) is the sr20det mainly because of "The Fast And The Furious".
1J's are catching on as swaps for mk3's.
Rarely do I get to see a nice older corolla or a celica (well, Minnesota is big on salting roads and killing cars). 4th gen Supra's are actually rising in price and some guys are getting sc300's (soarer with a 2jzge) just to be able to get a 2jz. The only other car that I would want right now would be a 86-88 corolla gts with something like a 1gg or a 4agte in it, just too hard to find is good shape.
What's the most popular motorsports?? Show?Drifting?Autocross?Drag? or something else

The most popular motorsport, spectator-wise, would have to be the V8 Supercar series. As for most number of participants, probably drag racing? Although motorkhanas (what you call autocross) are fairly popular as well. From my experience there's very little properly organised drifting in this country, and car shows don't count as "motorsport" IMO.

I reckon that the 4A-GE versions are getting quite popular aswell... Now every Rolla you see either has a 16V, 20V or a ZE... It's getting nuts...

Yeah, please don't think of me as actually believing that a car show is actually a sport, was just curious what was popular. If I wanted to go to car shows I would have kept the old Supra N/A auto that I had.
Drifting really isn't that popular here either, at least not organized and I really haven't seen any proof of talent at it yet either.
Hoping to finally be satisfied enough with my MA70 next year that I will bring it to the track. I ran it right after I got it for a 15.2 when it was almost all stock. Hoping to go mid to low 12's. I'll definately have to wait and see cause we all know that money talks...
What did of performance parts do you have access to? Which manufacturers?
How do most people up HP?, it almost seems like everyone swaps in a new motor.
