EDIT: I just went through the video frame by frame. Not only does the net move but the actual hoop moves and jerks to the side when she smacks her head into it. And the hoop goes in front of her. She either went through tha thing, or this is the best god damned fake I have ever seen.

There is another vid kicking around that shows the same thing from the side. She gets close but still in front.
If you slow it down frame by frame you can see her arms are not tucked in by her side at all, they are way apart. No way they would fit through a basketball hoop.

They are sticking way out from her body.
I'm not saying the vid is real, as taken from the camera, obviously the few frames where she goes through the ring have been edited. It is well done, but not perfect.

looks real to me, why would you go to the bother of making her fake banging her head, and the guys celebrating appears genuine enough.. to stoked to notice she smacked her head. pretty elaborate for a fake, gymnasts can do multiple flips and land with pinpoint accuracy i dont see why this should be so impossible. as long as the person can physically fit.. which they can.. go look at a ring they are pretty big, its possible.

No I'm not saying that. Reread my post now. If there was no net, totally different story, it would still be hard to believe but believable none the less.
Also, in theory anything is possible, IN THEORY. In reality, common sense dictates that it is very highly unlikely she passed through the net without getting anything caught, hands, arms, shoes whatever. It is possible, but not likely, and considering it's a trailer/plug for a teenie cheerleader movie, I'll go with the latter.
Plus, as stated earlier, I have seen the same clip, from a different angle. I'll see if I can find it for you.

so if there wasn't a ring there i don't think her hair would suddenly move the way it does as it seems to be influenced by an object.
her right arm does look like it's closer to us than the leading edge of the ring which makes me think it's a bit fishy....
so all i know for sure is..... i'd tap her all the way to china!
