Has anyone had trouble with there isc valve? my car idles at different rpm throughout the day and also wont idle at all sometimes.
any other ideas about causes besides it being old and crappy?

Check for air intake leaks.

You can also pull the ISCV out and clean it.
It gets gummed up with carbon.
