4A-GE to W58 clutch

OK, I'm putting a W58 onto my 4A-GE, and I'm wondering what I can do with the clutch.
My options are:
1. Use the clutch from Dellow. Cost's $100.
Has rubber blocks instead of springs, which I've been advised not to use. Very easy to get though.
2. Buy a custom made clutch. Cost's $???.
Whatever clutch I choose to use I will replace with something a bit sturdier once I get a turbo happening, so I don't wanna spend too much. This goes for the Dellow clutch too, 100 bucks is right on the limit.
3. Now this is the option I'm not too sure about. $???.
If I took an old clutch to suit a supra box and the clutch I currently use to a clutch place, would it be possible to get the splined part from the sopra clutch swapped to the sprinter clutch? Any idea of what the cost would be?
Like I said, either way I'll be going for a bigger flywheel & bigger & stronger clutch, so this won't be in use for too long (hopefully )
Thanks for any input you can provide.

hey mate.
Clutch manufacturers often use an old spline section for reconditioned clutch kits, but i'm not sure if the local clutch distributors have the equipment to do the swap.
If you cant get a hold of a supra plate to get the spline section from, a 4AGZE has the same spline configuration, and we know there are heaps of 4AGZE clutches around that people cant fit into bellhousings!
Cheers
Phil

Direct clutch (07) 3862 2680
Buy the $300 2800lb clutch kit now, keep it when you turbo it. No point paying $100 for a $40 clutch plate from dellows!

Yeah, the ZE clutch fits, so long as you get viscious with that Dellhousing(tm) with a grinder.

I recently called Direct Clutch about a 4AGE clutch kit, and they definately do have both 200mm & 215mm diameters

if someone wants to donate a dellows housing then i will be able to mod it to fit the GZE flywheel & clutch by grinding it out then beefing it up. Then i will be able to cast a(or ten) new ones that way it wont be any weaker then the origional So anybody......................

Dellhousing(tm) is 450, 60 for the bearing + 'carrier', 60 for the clutch fork (which looks like something made in kindy, and is about 3 inches too long)

450...wow. i picked mine up from this forum for 250 i think. i knew i was getting a bargain but didnt realise it was that much. when i first looked at them almost 2 years ago they were priced at over 650 bucks from memory. seems the demand for them is increasing and therefore the price is decreasing
