1GG blower on a 3.5 litre ??

I need some help.
Im looking to supercharge a 3.5 litre V6 engine and would like to know if a supercharger off a 1GG is up to the job.
Not looking for mega horspower maybe just 6-8psi and more than anything, the noise of the charger.
If i hook this to a 3.5 litre with a front mount, computer and BOV will it all work in harmony and be reliable or is the blower too small ??
I know there is a place in Melbourne that makes kits with these chargers for Commodores with 3.8 litres so would that mean a 3.5 litre will handle it ??
Look forward to your opinions.
Thanks.

Youll be lucky to get 8psi out of a SC14.
6psi might be possible before you hit the 10K RPM limit of SC14.
Do some searching, other poeple have done this before.

Here's a crazy idea that might well be stupid - twin SC14's?

The SC14 was designed for a 2 litre engine. It should really be self-evident that it's not suitable for an engine 75% larger than that.
Twin SC14's would work great but it would be a nightmare getting it all to fit in your average engine bay.

Well seen it on a 3l and on a 3.8. On the 3.8 it was evident that you were running out of puff, though it did make a difference. On the rb30de i seen it run on it was defnitly a lot better than tht 3.8 just becuase it was able to make more boost. But evident was the fact that inlet temps were getting to 110 degrees (this was non intercooled), and the less said about the cars power curve after 4000rpm the better LOL. Basically it make the car feel like it had an extra 2 cyls but it wouldnt be usefull for a performance application and on a 3.5l i would defnitaly not use it. Unless you were thinking about 2 of them lol
Cheers Adam
