uh well i have a RA65 with a w55 gearbox i thinks?? well anwyays its not really a gear box problem all gears are fine..... it jus tthe shifter:S its like to put simply like a loose bitch.....i can do cirlce with the gearknob in neutral....though its annoying it can be put in gear etc.......just wodnering what the problem is.......and how simple or har dit is to fix and how much it should cost me
there is also another piece that wears. the little steel plate that bolts down over the big ball-thingo. If this is worn and all opened out then it will move all over the place no matter what gear it's in.
on the one on the right, that metal thing that sits above the spring. It's what the bolts go through to hold the shifter down. If the slot in the middle of that is bent and spread out then you need a new shifter.
