please help!!!! dash lights not working Sat, 22 January 2005 10:19 Go to next message
Hi at night when i turn my headlights on they work fine, but no lights on the dash inside the cabin work.... the hand brake light, fuel light etc work fine, its just the dash lights that light up the tacho and speedo....

any ideas of what this could be? is there a fuse to check or something like that..?

cheers
dave.

Not knowing what type car you've got, can't help heaps..

Most likely though, it'll be the dash light brightness adjuster knob/dial. If that's completely toast, it'll be stopping all current to the lights. So, look for the dial.. Or, it might just be turned down. Smile

Aside from that, I'm pretty sure if the lights work, the dash should work, same fuse... Could be wrong though.

Have you added any aftermarket gauges, pulled the lower panel off at all?
