...so, if you had an AE86, lowered and with (front) coilovers, about what offset with a 6.5" or 7" wheel would you need for good clearance?

I much prefer the 14s.
Especially in bronze, they are the shit.
I want to paint my car black just so I can run bronze Rewinds.
That'd look so wicked

Very nice!
They look better than Performance Superlites and are cheaper!
That said, I'm going with the latter as they come in a 16x7 with a 12mm offset - which is more suitable for my application. I'll just have to paint the centres myself.

Ive got the 15 x 7 Superlites with a +12 offset. This is the "correct" offset that has been worked out conservatively to fit the car.
You can get performance to paint the centres for ya too. If ya like?

Just got an email back from Gabriel at T3 - Kong Rewind 15x7's are now regularly available at he'll start selling them from the T3 website soon (a bit cheaper than he sells 'em for on ebay).
Cool.

I wonder what offset I'd need for the starlet... takes 14s...
I reckon a set of black rewinds would look the part.
I'll keep the current "drift spec" light rims for track action though ;p
