You need to get to both of them. The bigger of the two hoses, that points to the back of the engine bay is for the standard boost controller. This must be removed. Disconnect the hose and plug it.

The smaller of the two hoses connects the wastgate actuator to the compressor outlet, this is the boost signal for the actuator. This is the line that you put the boost controller into. Make sure that when you do this the hose isn't stressed at the end of the fitting for the bosot controller as it is prone to tear and then you'll have uncontrolled boost.
