I am using a HKS GT2510.
Are you looking at internal or external wastegate turbos?
When would you like power delivery?
How much power are you chasing?
Cheers

The best one is a really really expensive one. The more you spend, the better you get.
I have a turbo off an RB20 here waiting to go on my motor, that cost me $240 or so. Seeing as I am not after a specific figure, I just want more reliable power than what I have now for a conservative price, so the turbo I'm using suits my needs to a tee.

Yah, it's all about $
If you've got them to spend, then go buy a brand spanking garret GT roller to whatever size matches your HP desire
If you're poor like me, then things get a little harder I'm using an RB25 one that I scored for $200, and it seems quite reasonable for the job for the most part.

how did you manage to pick up an RB25 turbo for only 200 bucks?
What RPM do you reach full boost (and what is full boost!)

In the articles section, Michael made some comments on the best turbo for the 4AGE based on turbos that came off other motors.
The 4AGE is 1600cc's divided by 4 = 400cc's per cyl
RB20DET 6cyl 2000cc's div. by 6 = 333.3cc's per cyl
RB25DET 6cyl 2500cc's div. by 6 = 416.6cc's per cyl
So basically if your looking for a stock turbo to match the characteristics of the 4AGE you should aim for the RB25DET, but they are pretty hard to find, RB20DET is cheaper and more available because people do away with them to upgrade their RB20DET turbos.
RB20DET should come on (according to Michael) at 2600rpm and go to 7500rpm
RB25DET should come on at 3400rpm and go all the way to redline with more boost than the RB20DET.
I have also heard that you should bolt on a T03, it has slightly more boost than the RB25DET turbo, but comes on at a lower rpm of 3000-3100rpm, which to me would be ideal.
