7M-GTE Performance Radiator Ideas?

Hi Guys,
Looking at trying to cool the 7M down a bit (stop laughing) with a better performing radiator. I've done a few searches but can only come up with Supra specialist places in the US selling them online. The cheapest i've found is a Koyo high performance radiator for $130USD plus $80USD shipping. This seems to be cheap as SupraSport and the like are selling them for over $400USD
My question is, has anyone upgraded the radiator in their car for a performance option locally? If so how much, where from, and was it worthwhile?
Thanks!

Take your radiator to the local radiator shop and ask for an upgraded core. Should cost no more than $3-400 installed.

Just beware, if you have plastic top and bottom tanks, you won't be able to get a bigger radiator using the factory tanks.
At least that is what I found out.
I went to get a custom 3-core made up to my stock tanks, and after waiting a weeks for it, I got a call, and the guy did some calcs, and reckoned that using the same tanks, I'd only be getting a 3% increase in flow with 3-cores.
Needless to say, I didn't do it.
I just got the radiator flushed (was 10% blocked) and the cooling has been perfect since.

Hmmm, bummer. In that case you'd be better off going to the wreckers with a measuring tape in hand and look for a nice thick radiator with similar dimensions to yours. If you want better cooling on a budget, your best bet is to start with something OEM and common. Those "performance" radiators built specifically for the Supra are much easier, but you pay a big premium for the convenience factor.

Look around, there are radiator shops around that will custom make you what you want for a reasonable price, whereas others will attempt to charge triple that much for the same thing.
