heys guys - pondering getitng a cd player put in dads supra , just need to know what others have used to patch the gap left by the equaliser , and maybe what single din trays etc fit from other models ..

I dont have access to a " pick + payless " type place here - so models to chase would be appreciated for the right gap filler

get a bit of tin sheeting and bend it - itll bolt to the underside of the headunit and onto the factory ma61 mounting points....

I did this, and have now just filled the extra gap with oil pressure and oil temperature gauges Very Happy

Will get you pics later on the week if i can

currently have a black piece of plastic

but you can buy pockets from toyota for a single DIN (or score them from a wrecker.)

A DIN slot is a standard measurement, anything should fit that is a DIN.

Get a cupholder.

Classique71,

If you want me tomorrow, I can pick one up for you as I will be driving on the Western Highway through Sunshine/St Albans past 2 Toyota wreckers.

Last time I had to do it for the MA61, I got a pocket off a 87' Camry *I Think* for $10 and turned it upside down (CD Player on the bottom and pocket on the top)

Cheers.

Yeah I'm using a plastic pocket as well... grabbed it from an SV21 Camry from memory, cost me bugger-all.
