icon5.gif  Late GenIII or GenIV 3S to install into Caldina? Mon, 24 January 2005 23:43 Go to next message
I've found out that the fuel tank in my car is the same as the petrol versions (just minus the fuel pump, & that just sits on a bracket).

Therefore, to aid in the possibly selling of my car (or even to make it tempting to keep it) I'd need to find a 96 or newer 3S.

This is obvisouly a late GenIII or any GenIV, preferably with wiring & a FWD gearbox. Although a GTE & the 96- Camry V6 boxes will mate up.

Any suggestions?

PS Mods, I wasn't sure if this was the right section to post this in

is a 3S-GTE or 3S-GE?
What would be included in that price? engine only or wiring as well?

It'd certainly help it sell if it was the 3S-GE or even better 3S-GTE I reckon! But once you do the conversion you are never going to want to sell it, it'd be one of the most awesome, rare station wagons in Australia!

I dunno, 3S-GTE FWD?

I'm working on securing a project that would be lighter and also awd/rwd with 2.0L turbo power.
