4agze knock sensor location Tue, 25 January 2005 01:14 Go to next message
Hi all, i'm having some problems finding the knock sensor on a 4agze engine.

I'm guessing its got to be up behind the supercharger/inlet manifold somewhere?

Can anyone give some pointers though if its between piston 2 - 3, or more at the front/rear of the block.

Also is it lower down on the block, or higher up closer to the head?

Anything to help us put our hands in the right spot as you cannot see a thing.

Thanks
JOel

IIRC, high on the inlet side near the back of the block.

on the smallport 4agze it was towards the back of the block, pistons 3-4 on intake side.

smallport 4age its in the middle, pistons 2-3.

Thanks all Smile so much shit on the inlet side of 4agze engines It helps knowing where to start!

i'm hoping once we get this connected the over fueling problem should go away.

Cheers
Joel
