this is pretty lame for a tech topic but has anyone fitted after market rear wipers to any of their hatches?
I was thinking maybe a wiper assembly off a Commie boot or maybe off a Seca could be fitted, any guesses or do you think it would just look crap.

I don't think it is a case of looks but, will it make stuff all of a difference where or what you source a rear wiper from? Just get one of a wreck and clean it up.

because with the recent rain and dust I can't see stuff all out of my hatch. It was just an idea.
Maybe i should just wash it more often .

Yeah i know where you are comming from mate!
In my old RA28, i would have loved a rear wiper, even a little bit of rain on that back window and its impossible too seee out of. And if you guys havnt driven an RA28 dont comment because i swear they are the worst cars around for rear/blind spot visability!
The only hasle would be drilling a big hole in the hatch, and mounting the motor under the hatch somewhere. If you have a rear visor on you hatch too then im pretty sure the whole assembly would be practically invisable!

Sorry i was under the impression u already had a rear wiper and wanted to put another one on hence my response of why?
Im sure it couldn't be that hard to hook up, just find some space in the rear hatch and drill a big arse hole, probably go with a wiper unit off a rolla or similar nice and compact.
