Torsen oil & wear in procedure?

Hi all, wanted to ask peoples opinions on running in a brand new torsen centre? Is there anything special that needs to be done?
I've heard plenty of rumors such as figure 8 driving etc.
Also what oil is recomended? Torsen doesn't need special LSD oil is what I can tell from a few toymods searches.
Thanks
Joel

Use standard diff gear oil, ie whatever Toyota recommends for the single-spinner diff. I haven't heard of any special wear-in procedures, I just took it easy for the first couple of weeks.

There are no actual "friction services" like there are in a clutch or drum based LSD so I don't think there is really a wherein process. Having said that much like Norbie, if it was my nice new centre I'd take it easy for the first little while.

see my PM joel but for everyone else when I installed my true Trak just took it easy off the line and limited the speed to 80kph for 500km's to wear in all my bearings. (replaced every one).
also use standard diff oil.
