G'day all ..
Just wondering if having that mini air/oil filter gizmo on where the trumpet is on the BOV makes it legal or not since it's filtering the oil/air??
And why can buses and trucks have atmo BOV's? And why can harleys and similar bikes and V8s get away with noise pollution?

No it wont make it legal, trucks dont have bovs, and if they do all trucks and transport stuff has different rules to cars, same goes for motorbikes.

no it will definantly not make it legal. and you will find all heavy vehicles such as trucks do not haave BOV's you are mistaking the exhaust driven brake system for a bov.
motor bikes have to comply to a different set of rules but many that you will see will not comply and can be defected just as any car.

umm ... diesel turbos don't have BoVs - there's no throttle to close in a turbo diesel hence no need for the BoV.
harley's & v8s? well they're all tractor engines with pushrods and as such have to sound agricultural.
