w57 speedo sensor

i have a 1g out of a gz so it has the digital speedo sensor.
so what im wanting to know is, will the speedo sensor out of my auto behind the 18r-c fit it??

If it's a W57 or W58 then it should have the hole for the speedo cable, I thought they all did anyway.
I don't think the 18R ever had any type of speed sensor.

yeah its still got the digital plug thing in it and i have the cable that went into the box in the 18r and was hoping it would fit in

If you get the speedo cable gear from an earlier W57/58, that will work. I don't think a W50 one will fit, but it's worth a try.

W50 one will be different, but any W55/57/58 one should be fine.

how hard are they tp find? where can i get one from? i just thought the w50 one might interchange since the tailshaft yolk is the same.

Should be a piece of cake to find. Just make sure you get one to match your diff.

Not really. You know what ratio your diff is, when you go to a wreckers just check the plate which tells you what the diff code is. If it matches yours, you should be close enough.
