the "report post to moderator" function is there for this exact purpose, along with many others.
If you find crap in your thread, report those posts and a moderator will look at them and deal with them accordingly.
Your idea = Not a good one.
It's not going to happen sorry, not only can the forum software not do it, but no one on the board likes the idea.

if your stuff is sold, fine, but dont delete the details or the title, jsut alter it accordingly, some people use the forsale sections as a resourse and to give a bearing on how much they might be looking to sell their cars/parts so its best to keep it that way. if it really bugs u, change the title, then report it to a mod and they will probably lock the thread.
