first of all, no i do not want yellow ones like takumi's. i have no intention of getting them just for the sake of making it look like takumi's.
anyways... i can't see didly squat in the rain with my car. it's scary. i CAN NOT see the white lines on the road unless i have to make a real effort to, the lights are simply crap in the rain. the lights are just below standard on normal nights, let alone rainy nights. but i didn't care, i just put up with it.
one night, i was driving in the rain with the mrs on board, and i was following the white lines on the road and trying to keep between then (this was pretty much normal for me when it rains), until i drove across an intersection. for a quick recap, in the middle of an intersection, they do not have white lines to guide you. so after i drove past it, i quickly was trying to find the white line again to get myself balanced with the road. oh god... and as i was looking, i saw the line again. however, as i looked closer, it was one of those concrete lines that were like those islands thingy majigs, that made sure that no dick head would ever past the other side of the road without getting a massive bump. And then, I noticed my car was going straight between it, and i swerved. too late. BANG.
that's when it was the last straw (funny thing is this was a month ago).
anyways, does anyone know where i can buy a pair of them? i checked my local autobarn but they have those huge rounded ones only.
i've noticed a few people on here with them, but i don't recall their names by anychance, so can someone tell me where to get them and their experiences and would this actually help vision at night? and i don't get the difference between a yellow fog light and a white one? i remember my friend telling me yellow light penetrates through fog? but i don't know, because he is also the friend that told me his friend's standard 3 series bmw had twin turbos on a e36 m3 and gbox and could turn off the turbos whenever you want with a swimple switch.
any help would be appreciated. cheers

what would be better is..
if your current lenses are no good, ditch them if you can get some Hella lense replacements.
then get some good "Legal" globes, like the Plus50 or Plus 60 that Hella and Philips etc make.. do NOT buy the crappy "50bazillion% better, 8000K" bulbs.. just get a good quality bulb from a proper light company
Philips also do ones like diamond vision etc....
basically, your stock lights should be good enough.. if not, then get better lenses, or get better bulbs (maybe bulbs first.. autone had the Hella Plus 50's for under $30 a pair!)
driving with foglights/driving lights on in the city, or where it isn't foggy is illegal and you may be fined (although police never seem to do anything to the morons aroudn here)

not particularly to help me clear fog, but to just act like another set of headlights!
