3D Models of classic celicas

Hey guys,
I am on the lookout for some 3D models of classic celicas, TA22, up to the RA28, and any others too actually.
Doesnt matter the format, Max, Maya or Lightwave etc.
I'd like to find some 3D models to save some time in having to dig up schematic views and model them from scratch.
Hopefully someone somewhere has built some already
Thanks Floppy

i built an ra28 in milkshape ages ago when i first started out in 3d modeling, but i think the file is long gone.
i have 3dsmax 6 now and have been meaning to revisit it with a lot more skills
if you are maybe thinking of building one yourself, or any other car see http://www.smcars.net/forum HEAPS of car blueprints

i gave up 3dsmax for xsi for my new job, so glad i made the change.
an old school celica would be relatively simple to model.. were you looking at high poly or low?

Hi,
I'm sure there's a guy on on classic-celica.com who's done an RA28 in gmax.

Hey guys,
Yeah I figured that it would be not so easy to find ready made ones That was just the lazy side of me coming out.
I intend to try and build them in hipoly versions, mostly for the purpose of trying body mods and colour schemes etc before doing it on the real thing.
But as I thought about it more, a collection of classic celicas would be cool to have for just playing around with on the computer with some of the newer PC driving games allowing your own cars to be put in.
When I do finally get my butt into gear and make them I will let everyone know and release them for everyone to use.
So if any of you have already got top/front/side views of a bunch of these cars let me know. Might wave me a bit of time

Guys what do you think of Rhino for modelling?
We use it for modelling our aluminium boats (note: I cant use it), what are the better more user friendly programs out there?
Sorry for the Hijack

Heres a RA28 model i done a while back. And before you say anything, i already know its total crap lol. Its was my first attemp at anything 3D, so i didnt expect it to turn out good anyway. Modeled in Rhino by the way.

Heres a cartoon style version, looks heaps better (i reckon anyway)

you'd be surprised how good lightwave is as a standalone modeller.
Maya is the best overall in my opinion, Still getting into XSI, only thing i like about it so far is it's Half Life 2 exporter.

Hey there,
Instigator_PsY: I have some free time if you want i can model these cars for you please supply me with T F B S views.
As soon as I find some TFBS views I will let you know , havent had a lot of time to do a search, but hopefully this week things quiten down. I know I have 3 views of a TA22 or RA23 I got from someone on here ages ago.
Re: modelling apps, I mostly used to use Lightwave for modelling, but have used Max,Maya and Soft at varying times. I prefer Maya now for pretty much everything (its what I use at work) but I am going to look into Modo which is a standalone modelling app.
Anyway one other thing I thought about was that if any finds schematic views for Toyotas, maybe we can get the hosted on the forum's download section?

Hey guys,
Just a heads up <ehendrikd> posted a link early on in this thread to this www page - http://www.smcars.net/forum
If you want a fairly good collection of all makes and models sing up (free) and look through the forum (toyota section has a TA22 plus some other celicas which all have blueprints.)
So now the source has been found
