factory low pressure electric fuel pumps? Mon, 27 May 2002 14:14 Go to next message
does anyone know of any cars(carby) that came standard with an electric fuel pump. im using an aftermarket "facet" fuel pump which is too damn noisy, and I dont want to spend a fortune on a pump that is capable of 7lt/min (holley) when all I need is 1.5lt/min. I figure something cheap from the wreckers should do the job?

A lot of early Mazdas (early-mid 70's) have electric pumps, generally they are located in the rear (rather than the engine bay), usually in the space behind the rear wheel and the boot. Either way, just follow the fuel line out of the tank and you'll stumble across it.
