Hey i can get my hands on a second hand Power FC for $800, can anyone suggest a shop that will put this in my 93 soarer (auto), and a rough estimate on price?

Cheers Sam

true but the dyno tuning would be where you have to spend the money and power fc's are laborious to tune

My friend uses a unichip in his twin turbo soarer.

he has a:

Pod filter
3inch exhaust
front mount intercooler
upped boost 14psi

and his makes 216kw atw plus i think the unichip is a piggy back so you dont have to rewire shit and tune for cold start and all that crap

From what I've researched and been told getting an aftermarket ecu installed on an auto jzz30 soarer is a huge headache. I'm not 100% sure on this but i have been told that the auto is run by a separate computer that runs through the ecu, so you need the original ecu at least to be getting all the engine signals. Even if they are being controlled by a separate after market ecu. One huge wiring headache.

If you don't care about drivability you can get shift units, but that means you have to "manualy" shift the auto through L, 2, D, Overdrive.

Either swap to manual (expensive with soarers) or use a piggy back item such as the uni chip or SAFC or something similar that simply modifies the signal the ecu gets from the engine.

with piggy back units, a healthy transmission and a decent setup you can pull a good 260 rwkw out of them.
