swapping 1g injector plugs to fit 7m injectors?

I recently bought some 7mgte injectors and have a gen 3 1ggte from a GX81. I read that the 7mgte injectors should plug in but some found that they dont on some 1ggte's as toyota changed things for some unknown reason.
Well it was my lucky day, i have the 1ggte that the 7mgte injectors dont plug in. Well they nearly do but one of the tabs that the injector plug clicks into is on the opposite side.
So how do i get around this problem?? Can i get the plugs of another 1ggte, cut my plugs off and solder the correct ones on??

Gen 2 plugs will do the trick. One would question why you are fitting 440cc injectors unless you are going to an aftermarket computer as the gen 3 will over-fuel as it is even with increased boost.

Gen 1 also fit. But if you dont want to hack at your injector loom, you could also just remove the locator tabs on the side of the injectors, becuase these are in a different location to the gen 3 plugs thats wats causing your problem. That all depends on if you want to hack at your injectors. I would just source some plugs that fit the 7ms. ie gen 1,2 1g of 7m plugs.

Honestly Fattony, you should know better, LPG is the only way to go, no injector problems then.
