That depends on whether or not they changed the bearings from year to year Razz Best way to go about it is to measure the old ones i'd think.

The best way would be to read the manual for information on the bearing gradings / sizings used before you know what you are going to measure .

manual is in the tech docs section

Heres the link to the black top one for the second time today

: http://toymods.org.au/Repository/TechDocs/4A-GE%20 20Valve%20Black%20Top%20Manual.tar.gz

What is it today are all the 20v's shitting themselves .

I know with Honda that they colour the bearings. So all you have to do is order the bearings with the same colour. Dont know if its the same for Toyota.

there are 3 bearing sizes, 1,2,3 but acl makes a general bearing to suit all tolerances, youll need to get the correct bearing size for your block, in other words youll need a 40mm or 42mm bearing. they can be purchased from most automotive parts retailers.

am i missing something?
i think your crankshaft, and most likely the rod/s are going to need major work before you even think of getting bearings.
