optusnet cable dodgy tonight?

anyone having problems with optusnet cable tonight? i cannot connect to sites outside australia (nor traceroute or ping them) and ICQ and MSN are both not responding.
i'm in brisbane and appear to be routed thru kelvn1.

Mine was being a cnut about 45min ago... haven't been near the puter much tonight so I dunno if it's been dropping out often.

hahahaha i just left optus cable tech support for my new job at the Universal Bank of Switzerland... i dont have to deal with this crap ANYMORE

was very uncool of optus to wait >3 hrs before updating their status page... i fart-arsd around for about 3 hours wondering why my local DNS would only resolve certain adresses, changed various settings, restarted stuff, trashed a LDAP setup thinking that was the problem, ... it sucked wasting all that time.
