hey Wilbo,sorry for the slow reply.the 7m had 230 thou on it.recent work that I am aware of included all front seals as they were leaking.[b4 I got it].I had enough confidence in the way it was to invest in a new set of platinums [at 210] and a complete set of hoses and belts as spares [never installed] the only wear I could pick in the manner,sound or feel of the engine was a little valve train noise.Its probable that the shims have never been touched.Zero oil use etc.Cheers.Pete.
