Was driving along the other day and the warning light that is shaped like an engine came on. The book says take your car to a Toyota dealer. The car is driving normally and I can detect no change in anything. What type of faults can trigger this warning light?
eletrical syetem is malfunctioning?? (this is what it said in the owners manual for a 1989 Camry with a 3S-FE. the light sounds similar to mine. so I think this may be what the problem is.
it means u need to run a diagnosis and find out what the problem is.
you dont need to go to the dealer for this, do a search of google for toyota engine diagnostic codes and u should be able to find a website that will detail the procedure and tell u what code does what.
