Toyota produce a T-series engine repai manual that covers all T-series engine but the 3TGTE.the publication number is 98311 and was first printed in 1978.
any specific infomation you need could be scanned if you can't get a copy.

There's two books for the 2t-g and most likely at least one more. So it depends on which 2t-g you have.
I have a book from 1975 - Pub No. 98060-1 which covers the 2t series motor. Points ignition
and the 1978 edition Pub No.98311E which have the 2t-g with electrionic ignition.
But have a look on Ebay if you can cause most times there's usually at least one going
