4agze air fuel ratio prob (if i was a rich man)	Sun, 30 January 2005 13:59

Hey all, Finally got my MR2 on the dyno lst week. (4agze AFM model bog stock) Now that ive stopped sobbing i need to work out what is wrong. A little rich is an understatement try 10:1 or richer (off the chart) MEASLY 98HP!!!!! Anyone know how to isolate the prob, or experienced similar? is it a dead oxygen sensor or something? From what i understand the AFM adjustment mainly is for idle mixture. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Hodgo [Report message to a moderator]

I had the same problem with a mates.. It was because the knock sensor wasn't connected. Cheers Joel [Report message to a moderator]
