Brisbane machine shop Mon, 31 January 2005 03:27 Go to next message

Need alteration to brake discs:
Diameter -7mm
4 holes @ 114.3

No brake / mechanical shop apparently will not touch this type of work (liability reasons).

Does anybody know a machine shop capable in the brisbane area?

ask Terry Obierne? or Cool1?

one runs a workshop, the other has had numerous things on his car (inc brakes) engineered and modded.

Actually I'm having a similar problem getting someone to drill my 4-stud discs to 5-stud... if anyone has any specific experience with workshops capable/willing to do such a thing, please let us know. Smile

The workshop I play at will do the machining and redrilling. However the machining will be costly due to the setting up of the lathe and the time needed to sit and do the job. Gettig a few rotors done at the same time will make things more cost effective.
If anyone wants details f the workshop, send me a PM. The place is located at Redclife.
