Jeeez.. I almost bought a set of 256's a little while back for a steal, but decided they'd be too small

just wondering why you wanted to step back? Is the idle too lumpy, not enough low down power etc? What turbo/s are you running?

Honestly never ran it. But was going to use big 600hp turbo. Now lookin like a 480hp to get good midrange. I dont think the stage 2 will work well together.

HKS do a 272 set as well, these also have more lift (9.3mm compared to 9mm for the 264's).

These are stage 2 ones. Stenno stated the stage 3. To me it depends on what power your making and how youwanna make it.

These are great cams with a very nice midrange and decent top end - has been described as feeling like a third turbo kicks in at 4000rpm in my Soarer.
Idle can be pretty much tuned smooth or raised 500rpm higher to cover it up - only negative is the slight loss of brake booster vacuum efficiency but is minimal and expected with most cam upgrades.
These 264/step 2 HKS cams are also the largest you can go while still maintaining a non-interference 1JZ-GTE engine - I found out the hard way recently when a cambelt belt broke prematurely with only 11,000kms on it - to my surprise, valves and pistons didn't touch as I previously expected!
Good luck with the sale
