Are these like the models that you build and paint your self?
Cause I want one?

yes build and paint yourself so you could end up painting them and doing them up so they look just like your car, wish they did a RA23
cost price is $25 so after you add on the gst and profit they will probably sell for around $40

i guess just go to your local hobby show around that time and tell them you want one, tell them they are done by Toy Traders if they don't know what you are talking about, i couldn't get them any cheaper as my boss is pretty tight, i would be able to get one minus 10% and as they don't cost much anyway its only saving a couple of dollars, i'll try and get the part number next time so it will make it easier for you when you go into a hobby shop and try to order it.
and every kit i have ever seen the indicators come clear and everything, so you can paint them what ever colour you want or just leave them clear.

GIN51E - Is it still possible to source any AE92 kits?
I went through the process of looking for these a while back, but it seemed damn near impossible. Just thought if you're in the business you might know something that us commoners don't.

No i have no idea if they make them or not, i only work there and don't pay much attention on whats available, i think the best place is to ring up sheriff's model cars which is in parramatta as they only deal with model cars so they should know what is and what isn't available,

Why wait till next year I bought two of these kits on the 25th March 2002 from Stanbridge Hobbies (23 Railway Parade Mt Lawley 6050) Phone 92718929 Supplier code A01856 AOSHIMA Toyota Celica 1600GT COST $35.75 POSTAGE $4.25 (WA to SYD)
Great model, but buy two, that way you'll get two race seats and four wide rims. Sick little model go and get yourself some.
Cheers
Justin

the difference is the ones you bought were made a long time ago with old casts, these new ones are being made use newly machined dies so they should be of top quality and great detail.
