If you can stretch a bit more, my workmate is selling his for around the $7-8K mark.
I know that he just poured about $3K into the motor getting it recond. Has a 200hp Merc on it around the 14ft mark. Quite a nice wake with a fatsack on board.
Located in Central Qld though. Otherwise, keep an eye on the trading post, sometimes you can come across some bargains.

Iv'e got a 15ft bullet with a 150hp merc ski pole that the owner before me used for wakeboarding I didn't get the chance too due to having the kids with me all the time.It's a the boat shop ATM getting new plugs ,leads ,dizzy cap and coil as well as fuel pump so it should be tip top when it gets back
Was on Ebay for $4500 starting bid still got people waiting to look at it let me know what you think, I can email pics if you give me your addy

Yeah it is more of a skiing boat than wakeboarding, he was selling it to get a fishing tinny.
It does get up and go though.
