Free boost? Tue, 01 February 2005 06:24 Go to next message
okay, sounds a bit dodgey to me, so someone confirm.

i have been told that if i lengthen the hose between my turbo's exhaust housing and waste gate acutator that, my waste gate will stay closed longer and give me more boost?

what are your guys opinions?

i'll say THEY"RE RIGHT if you buy my nearly-stock MA61 for $18,000

if not, then i'd say the hose is worth about 0.00000001 kW more power.

I guess you could cause boost spikes if the hose did a few laps of the engine bay.
