Brake thickness.

Just doing some research on brake conversions and want to know.
If a caliper orginally had a 20mm disc running through it is it possible to run a disc as large as 25.4???
Thinking about using Volvo Calipers or Hilux on my skyline with a hq disc. That's all.

For most Calipers the answer would be no (unless you only use pads that are at least half worn).
The Volvo calipers though I believe are two piece so you can pull it apart and put a spacer in to increase the effective width.
