As apart of Skylines Australia VIC we have different sub groups within the club which we are organising.
We already have Super Fun Happy Sliders (SFHS) which was/is going to be the drift team once i get off my arse and settle on a car and start practising, Team WANG which is the circuit team which has been going well lately and now im about to start up the Kart Karnts (well thats not the official name but for now) Go Kart team.
Basically what im trying to put together is a Go Kart league with a championship type setup. Basically a team from each car club battle it out for points to win the championship... it will be 1 day a month and all teams will collect points each month to get into the grandfinal at the end of the season.
This is more a fun social thing than a hardcore karting challenge.... at the moment i am just looking for expression of interest from each club before i start looking into prices and dates etc. This probably wont start until late march because if i get enough interest then i will have to sit down and talk to the guys at the indoor center to put together a structure and organise all the teams etc.
At this point it will be held in Moorabbin indoor kart center as they have probably one of the best setups in there with the massive screen etc.

ok just a little bit more info on how it will be structured if i get enough club teams participate..
hoping to get around 8 teams from 8 different clubs including the Soarer club, XR6T club, Nissan Silvia Club, SAU Club, WRX clubs and whoever wants to join in... if i get 8 clubs with a minimum of 5 people to make up teams of 5 people per club it will be a round robin type thing where everyone battles for points to win the championship where fame and fortune will await and bragging rights over the other clubs
by fame and fortune i mean a prize of some sort which will be decided if enough people actually partake in the event.
so if u know anyone else in a club that would like to put a team together let me know...
oh yeah and this will be a once a month event over a year... dont want to make it every week or anything cause it can get too costly that way.
also to answer a few questions iive already had... no... u dont have to bring ur own kart theyre supplied at the venue in moorabbin which has some pretty cool facilities including a bar
Shame it's in VIC, I dont personally have the time to orgaise something in NSW, but would be mighty interested if something did happen. Good luck with it mate.
