MX73 engine brackets Thu, 03 February 2005 02:01 Go to next message
I am after MX73 engine brackets. Prefer the twincam model just in case theres a difference in block between single and dohc models (I dont think there is, but best to be sure)

I have found myself a crossmember locally, so just require these brackets now thanks guys.

Re: MX73 crossmember. Prefer Brisbane, but reply is you have something anyway Thu, 03 February 2005 02:44 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Single cam/twin cam will be the same.

If you are putting a JZ in there, get a 91/92 MX83 crossmember, then the motor bolts up with stock mounts. (89/90 MX83 crossmember is slightly different)

Hahaha, I just realised you want the metal mounts.
i thought you wanted the crossmember. My mistake.

EDIT: HAHAHHA, you DID!!

I have a set of 5mge mounts at home.

Name a price and they're yours.

btw, as far as I can tell, the M and the G crossmembers are the same... but I've never had them side by side. (This was comparing MA61 to GA61.)

not too sure what they would be considered to be worth, how does 20 plus post sound? Collected xmember this arvo and the mounting points look the same as the 1G member in there but I havent had them side by side yet. It was only $70 anyway........ Never know when you need a spare I guess lol.
