you should be able to find this information and more in a forums search (you'll find the button in the top right hand corner)

depends which gen of 4agze the mr2 ones have ceramic coated semi forged pistons larger conrods 8.0:1 compression the supercharger runs 8psi of boost and makes 107kw. The map sensored versions which were in the levins run 10psi and higher comp 8.9:1 if i remeber correctly they also make more power accordingly somewhere arround the 117kw mark. Also later verions had oil squirters to cool the pistons.

A good place to start is any wrecker like SSS automotive which is where i got my half cut which was low kays and had good compression. If at all possible get a compression test on the engine and on 8.0:1comp should be what 160-170psi mark i think from memory?

I would think it would be somewhere arround the $1000-1200 mark for the engine alone maybe. again depends on the generation and condition.

front cut prices are now up around the $3000 mark in sydney in some importers.

AW11 = AFM type. dissy. 8.0:1. bigport.
AE92 (pre 06/89) = AFM type. DLI. 8.0:1, bigport.

AE92 (post 06/89) = MAP type. DLI. 8.9:1. smallport
AE101 = same

The map sensor versions also run more boost thanks to a smaller supercharger pulley, and are generally a much more powerful motor to begin with.

Typical power at wheels from MAP gze in AE92 (stock gze) = 85-95kW.

afm gze's are pretty poor from stock.
