There are some coolants out there that contain Ethylene Glycol and some that do not. I wanted to know what is that stuff? and wether I should use a coolant with Ethylene Glycol or without? in my AE82 4AC engine?

Be very careful Corolla Boy, they're only telling you the tip of it. They don't even mention the Organic based inhibitors that allot of manufacturers are now using oe in new models & there are some cheap nasties around ! They're right with never mix inhibitors (without going through the correct proceedure) but should stress that means the EXACT same inhibitor, not just the same company.

I'm surprised, doesn't someone usually scream the virtues of Toyota Red coolant by now?
