WTB: 4age sprinter

G'day. I, like many others i've noticed am after a toyota sprinter ae86 with a 4age. My budget is only $3000 and ive heard many people say this isnt enough, but ive seen several sell for that price or less on this forum. Just recently i was inquiring about one down at the sunshine coast. However these things tend to sell like hotcakes, and i missed out. So i was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of a good sprinter, preferably in queensland? cheers.

4age sprinter in 3 easy steps
1: get cheap ass adm ae86 ($500-$5000)
2: get cheap ass adm 4age ($50-$1500)
3: put 4age in ae86 (free-$3000)
done
pends how much u wanna do ur self, the cheap the more work u gotta do

buy a good 4ac and do the coversion yourself
or do what im thinking off some thing bigger and turbo'd

Heh, 6k you're dreaming. You see the demand for sprinters lies within the 17-19 year old "I need a first car that totally has respect and can drift but I only have $2500" segment. This is how $500 4AC shitters get sold for $3500 and 4AGE decently modded sprinters go for $4000 if that. Once people with money start spending more than that alot more cars become available, AW11's, S13's, Starlet Turbos, etc... The trick is to keep your eyes open, stay away from the 4AC shitters unless they are going for < $1000 and find someone with a 4AGE who is desperate to sell (there is alot don't worry). Save yourself alot of money in the long run.

if ya got $3000 your lookingat a 4ac not a 4age simple as that

saving your money is probably the best idea. When youve saved alot import a trueno like shiri did, but he did it with 2 cans of coke, but you dont have to get an 86 you can get something else that no one else has, something totally different, that ll blow everyones minds.

oh so it was you who won that auction! i only offered a 600ml bottle dayum...
some people sell their sprinters cheap some do not
ca18 for 3 grand no wonder...stock ones are normally worth more ( in japan anyway ) and it isnt even a toyota engine and a would guess it would need engineering etc etc although i have to agree that is cheap
basically $3000 for 4age ae86....is not going to happen, maybe for a rough one, maybe for a crashed/rusty one but not for a straight one...
fuck 3000 is barely enough for a 4ac one

farr that must have been some pure coke non cut stuff striaght off the boat of columbia
yeh wtb threads of sprinters are usually gay, if u find one for <1k i suggest u get it. but as said early 17-19 year olds or the demand is so high that every1 will want it. who wouldnt
just gotto look in the right places and to get your bargain get some elbow grease and do the mods yourself, or u want something running blow your money on a 4ac and slowly upgrade.
your money just invest it wisely "at aussie, we'll save ya"
