alright im upgrading my brakes on the cressie i got the r33 gtst calipers ford ba 300m slotted rda rotors and rear slotted rda rotors and pads from race brakes here in melb now im wondering will i need the o ring and plate made up ?? to fit the calipers i have herd some mx83s dont need it and some do i got a 1990 modle glx cressida ?? and any one got the messurments of the product needed and where i can take it to go get them made

I recently finished doing this upgrade on my MX83 struts. Here's a few photos:

As you can see the calipers were a direct fit. The only fabrication work done was the locator ring.

Is there any difference between the front calipers on a R33 Turbo and an R33 Non Turbo?

I don't want to buy the wrong brakes.

I used the R32 caliper (300ztt and 200sx) and looks markedly different to the later ones, they have a fin sort of arrangement, so I'm pretty sure that if you get the rounded looking ones you will be right.

The R32 ones are designed for a 280mm disc and this can be done with a 10mm spacer between the caliper and mounting point. So if you use the original nissan disk size with this caliper, that's OK. It won't work with the 300mm ones
