Camry Brake Problems

I have a question for anybody who might be able to help.
We have a 2002 Auto Toyota Camry Conguest wagon,it is a fleet car for our company, and we have been having break problems where the brakes lock on and we get sever steering wheel shudder. Last time i took it to toyota to fix they said the brakes had gotten that hot that they were blue and they said it was driver abuse.
24 hours later it started doing it again and has gone in again to be fixed. it has now been in 5 times in 12 months for brake problems.
Does anyone know of any of anything that may be causing this?

Unless its a fault recognised by Toyota (ie, all Camry's of that age are doing it), I'd say it comes down to driver abuse.
Unless you can prove that Toyota didn't install something properly, you will have to wear the cost.
Take the car to a brake place, they will be able to tell you the cause.
But as bbaacchhyy has said, it sounds like something has been cooked.

I would have put it down to driver abuse too but it was the fact that it happened again after 24 hours and 2 hours of driving.
Anyway hopefully Toyota can come up with some reason for it!
Thanks for your help Guys!

It depends on what Toyota did when they 'fixed' it.
If as bbaacchhyy and I suspect, a caliper is 'seizing' then the caliper needs to be stripped, and rebuilt.
If this is not done, the chances of failure again are dramatically increased.
Find out exactly what Toyota did last time it went there.

Yeah but who was driving it for those 2 hours? If someone's riding the brakes with their left foot (you can tell these coz the brakelights are always on) 2 hours would be heaps to cook them again.

I know that toyota had to machine the calipers the other day and do something to the pads as they has a sheen on them they got that hot. I will have to find out what the problem was this time round. I know the guy who had the car when it started again and hes not the type of person to deliberatly stuff it up. So thats why i'm now wondering what the hell is happening.
