guys my car wont start at the moment i think its the coil thats has no spark, but i cant be sure whats the best way to check this.
I have taken the lead off the dizzy and then put a screw driver onto it and then to earth and there was no spark from it at all when i tried to crank the car... is this normal???
I have checked all of the leads none have spark as i put a screw driver into them and then earth them also an no sparks jumping. I also have checked the plugs and they are no fouled.
any ideas???

if u leave ya car in the sun 4 a while will it start then ?? i had exact same probs with my car i replaced the ECU ignitor, coil, all leads, dizzy, and distributor and also the spark plugs and it still wouldnt start, it turned out it was my AFM that was bugggered and would only start when it was in sun and was a bit hot and would heat up the AFM and the lil sensors in it would work then but yeh goodluck with it it ended up costin me a lot of money to fix.

screwdiver? eh????
and then to earth??
why not put another spark plug into the leads and
hold it on the block to check spark?
i take it you are leaving a gap between the screw driver
and earth too.
check there is power to the coil and the condition
of leads/dizzy whole system etc.
maybe its not the coil because there are multiple
start up problems, usually electrical/fuel though!
