Well here is the new Toy.

She is destined to stay basically stock and is taking the place of my old MS65 as Daily driver and Tow car.

She is a 1970 Toyota Crown MS53 Custom Wagon, 5 Speed manual.

http://www.toymods.org.au/~rod/Crowns/50%20Series/MS5x%20Wagons/Rods%201970%20MS53%20-%20Manual/As%20Purchased%20001.jpg

She is in great condition inside and out and still sports the factory paint (Slightly faded on the roof) and is in great straight rust free condition Smile

If you like the old bus Pictures of my last one are here:

that looks awesome. My dad told me he used to own one in dark blue when they were only a couple of years old. He was trying to tell me about the wierd transmission setup they had with 2 gear sticks or something.

Would love to see the ms63 wagon pictures if you have any...

Daniel.

GT,

The "yellow" one was an Auto and I couldn't use it to tow with so she had to go. Being 5 Speed and already having the tow bar makes this one much better suited to my needs.

74GT,

Mate Lionel will think its new again once I've finished with it ! And tell him to give his mechanic an uppercut. There is thing thing called A fuel filter in cars that require changing more than one a decade. It won't go over 60kph when I picked it up and you couldn't even blow through the element there was that much shit in it. All sorted now tho, The gearbox is also much nicer with oil rather than coffee milkshake in it Wink She got a full service last week and dead set purrs like a kitten now Smile

Andrij,

So where ar ethe pics of this Ute mate. The 50 series Utes are awesome !

Hi,

I love it! I checked it out at Al Palmers on the weekend and it's a nice ride.

It'd look the part towing a TA22 or RA25 on a nice big car trailer. Smile
