indicator stalk problems? ae86 related

so if i use my blinkers (either left or right), they dont work. but i can still use the high beams and hazard button, is this a problem with the indicator stalk?
i havent opened up the steering column to look yet, this only happened last night after dark.

i didnt bother checking since it was dark and plus, the hazards still worked so it couldnt be the fuse, could it??

not sure.
but it is an easy check before you get into pulling the console apart etc.

When I read the topic name.......
I though was gunna be some fool whinning about his knuckes bumping the indicator stalk while steering.....
Damn and I needed a lil laugh after reading about the import law kill too....

i checked the fuses, it only has it for haz/horns and headlights etc... nothing for the blinkers....
anyideas anyone? before i buy a new indicator thingy?
