hey guys just a quick one, why is it everytime i meantion i want to put a fmic on my ae92 gze someone will say "why? its not a turbo"

does it matter if its superchared or turboed? i just want a fmic cause im not a fan of bonnet scoops unless they come factory standard on a particular car

cheers.

That's probably their response because they have no idea Rolling Eyes

When my car was supercharged it ran a FMIC, the only tip with ZE's and front mounts is to keep your pipework short and neat (2 - 2.5 inches diameter) and don't go too big on the intercooler. The 4AGZE has the throttle body pre-supercharger and if you make a long and volumous path between the throttle and head then expect a very delayed throttle response.

Superchargers heat the air just as a turbo does (compress air and it increases in temp) so a good method of cooling it can give slight gains in performance amongst other things.

EDIT: running the top mount without any vent will give you an interwarmer, so the front mount is a good idea in this case.

Oh yeah.......turbo it Evil or Very Mad Just kidding, if you like SC keep then keep it.
