Does anyone know if the 1UZ will pass current emission laws on the std comp,or if the mtr will pass at all for that matter.
Or another way i was thinking was if the 3UZ comp could be used on the 1UZ loom or not.
Anyone know?

It should do, considering the LS400 came with one and made no less power.

any import motor will pass emisiions on std ecu in a normal car


if its in a kit car then u have to comply with different rules and need a much newer engine

speak to an engineer he is the one that says yes or no to yr conversion
