I've got a 1990 GT4 Celica and i'm just wondering if it's worth doing a cold air intake with an Apexi pod filter or just replace the standard filter with a better flowing filter in the standard air box?
Or can i fit the Apexi inside the standard box with adapters? or would it be a waste of time if unless i do a proper air intake?
Anyone got links to sites that deal with this for celicas?
Cheers
Just leave it as is or if you want get a K&N cleanable panel filter to fit the factory airbox.
No point changing the airbox to a pod unless you are going to create a complete CAI setup as you will just increase intake air temp.
yeah that's basically what i'm asking.... Is it worth doing?
Doesn't the GT4 already have a CAI setup? is it just a matter of getting the Pod filter into a similar setup?
I won't have the pod filter just sucking in the engine bay air it would be a 'proper' CAI setup....i hope
